“I feel like I was wearing a weighted vest for who knows how long. I hadn’t realized how heavy it was until I finally just put it down. This might sound crazy — but I think other people in trauma recovery will get it — I am taking deep breaths again. I can feel my legs and feet. I can feel my feet in my shoes right now. It makes me want to cry and laugh at the same time.”

Sophia Bush is now being spotted with her girlfriend, Ashlyn Harris, a retired U.S. soccer player. Announcing in 2024 Glamour piece, Bush has confirmed her new relationship with the former soccer player and adds that this relationship is built on mutual understanding, rather than the previous entanglement of her marriage, calling it as “profoundly freeing.”

As Sophia Bush was previously married to an entrepreneur and her over-a-decade-old friend, Grant Hughes. Sophia Bush told the media, the breakup with her ex-husband did give her clarity for self-discovery and vulnerability.
