The runner suffered an awkward wardrobe blunder while jumping over hurdles during the race.

World champion runner Chris Robinson was the center of attention at the Ostrava Golden Spike event in the Czech Republic on Tuesday (June 24).

But not just because he won the race.

The 24-year-old athlete was competing in the 400m hurdles competition when the mishap occurred, but surprisingly managed to keep his composure.

It was after the first 200m of the race that the American athlete, who is a 4x400m hurdles world champion, started to notice that something unwanted was hanging out of his shorts.

His private parts proceeded to dangle out for the remaining 250m of the race – leaving those in crowd and commentators equally gobsmacked.

TV broadcasters were left desperately trying to apologize to the millions of viewers at home, who were in full view of Robinson’s manhood as he hurdled over the obstacles.

Of course, he tried to put it back in its place, but his attempts proved to be unsuccessful.

In fact, the more he tried to rectify the problem, the bigger it became – the problem, that is.

However, thanks to a huge lung across the finish line, he managed to retain his champ status and placed first.

Of course, the win is more jaw-dropping when your p**is is flapping around for half the race.

He even finished the race off in style, somersaulting into first place, with a season’s best time of 48.05 seconds.

It’s only natural to imagine what he might have achieved, had his member not been on display for the whole world to see.

Former English athlete Tim Hutchings, who was commentating the race, said: “He hit that ninth hurdle hard.

“He was having an equipment failure there – I think that is probably the politest way to put it.”

He added: “That’s a brilliant run by the American to be constantly adjusting certain parts of his equipment and possibly his anatomy down the home straight there around that top bend there.

“Goodness me. That’s a very relieved Chris Robinson.”

The commentator noted that battling the embarrassing issue, while running the race, is a personal best in itself.

But it seems that the X-rated mishap isn’t the first of its kind.

Hutchings said: “Perhaps in a race every two or three years you see scenes like this from men and women with parts of their equipment failing.

“It can make it very, very awkward, but that was a stunning effort to stay out in front with all that going on.”

Producers of the broadcast had not even had enough time to censor the clip, which was being replayed.

Upon finishing the race, Robinson looked sheepishly towards his competitors, as he lay down on the floor.

It’s safe to say that he may wear a safer pair of shorts for his next competition!
