Adult content creator Rebecca Goodwin is making waves this week after storming off of a podcast known as The Reality Check while claiming her work “contributes to society.”
While appearing on the controversial podcast, Goodwin opened up about working in the adult industry when asked if earning less in another industry would be worth saving her “dignity” over.
As she responded and explained how she feels she is now “reclaiming everything” that was “taken” from her, the discussion soon turned into what she believed to be “disrespectful”.

“My dignity was long gone way before I had this job”, Goodwin responded.
“My dignity was robbed from me when I was four years old, I’m reclaiming everything that was taken from me,” she explained.
To which one of the hosts asked: “How are you reclaiming it by doing OnlyFans?”
She responded: “Because men used my body and now I’m using my body to reclaim what was taken from me, my dignity was stolen as a child.”
“I was groomed as a child,” she continued.
“It’s common knowledge that if people were groomed as a child then they are more hyper-sexual as an adult, I’m going to use that to monetize from every single person that has ever taken from me.”
“I think I’ve done that pretty well.”
She then continued to state that there is “no dignity in going out to work for somebody who is really rich” such as supermarket jobs, a topic that then sparked a heated debate.

While on the topic of doing something “positive for society,” the adult star claimed to have spent around a whopping figure of $300,000 (£230,000) on her latest yearly tax bill.
She said: “£238,000 was my tax bill this year, I’m doing something ‘positive’ for society by paying a lot of your wages.”
This sparked one of the hosts to state how her adult industry work adds “nothing productive to society,” before claiming that it is “damaging our society.”
To which Goodwin responded: “These [adult stars] do not belong to society.”
“These girls are their own girls, these girls do not have to contribute anything to society, a society that gives you what? Please explain to me what society is giving you.”
While staying on the above topic, Goodwin continues to state that her “tax bill” alone is enough in her eyes as a positive contribution to society.
“That is what makes society run.”
“Why does my job have to contribute to society? My job is contributing to make sure that me and my kids are ok,” she said before admitting she would choose the adult industry before a career such as being a nurse for the National Health Service (NHS).

“I am not going – to work for the NHS, what do they do? They charge you £9,000 a year to go to University, and then you have to pay nurse registrar fees.”
“The whole time you’re being a nurse and on top of that, the nurses are being paid a sh*t fu**ing wage. Fu** society,” she said.
However, the hosts argued that although career professions such as being a nurse may not make as much money, they may be offering more to society in other ways.
“Bin men, doctors, nurses, [supermarket] workers are all contributing more than you are with your job because you’re not doing anything, you’re just getting your min*e out,” a host argued.
To which Goodwin joked: “What are you doing? ‘I do a podcast, I’m contributing to society.’”
“Fu** you!”

As the discussion became increasingly heated, Goodwin continued to open up about her thoughts on how her taxes “contribute” to society.
“I’m paying enough tax to pay 30 nurse’s wages a year.”
“That’s corporation tax, dividend tax, personal tax – so you wouldn’t understand any of this,” she added before a discussion led to her storming out of the room.
When asked why she hasn’t moved out of the United Kingdom to a country where she would have to pay less tax, Goodwin explained how she didn’t want to move her children elsewhere.
While continuing to explain how she had travelled with her children in the past, to add to her point, she decided she had enough of the discussion while causing the hosts to burst out in laughter.
“We got a motor home and we drove from Chesterfield to Cornwall and back up to the Lake District in six weeks and I asked them,” she said before being interrupted with laughter.
As she attempted to finish explaining to the hosts on why her children had no desire to relocate, she was met with ridicule over her “Chesterfield to Cornwall” family holiday.
“I’m going to get off now, you lot are the most disrespectful people I’ve ever met,” she told the hosts while getting out of her chair and leaving the podcast room.
“This will be your most viewed podcast only because we all stand with Rebecca Goodwin,” one wrote in the comment section of the podcast’s YouTube channel.
“Snoring as she spoke, calling her names, talking over her, mimicking her voice, begging for money, raising voices all at once, diminishing her many accomplishments and laughing in her face.”
“Which bit are you calling ‘banter’?”
“This is a masterclass in the problem with men in society today,” another added.
“Imagine putting this up thinking you were proving Becky wrong,” a third chimed in.
