Emma Dumont has come out as their new name.
The actor, model, and dancer is most known for his role in the Oscar winning blockbuster Oppenheimer, where they played Robert Oppenheimer’s sister in law Jackie.
They also appeared alongside Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon and Florence Pugh on the big screen.
They also appeared in the NBC show Aquarius, the Fox series The Gifted, and ABC Family drama Bunheads.
The actor has now made a major revelation about their life which is being celebrated by fans on social media.

One follower writes: “Enjoy being you and your newfound freedom!”
Another adds: “I’m very happy for you.”
“Congrats for coming out,” says someone else.
A fourth fan comments: “So exciting to get to be yourself!”
The actor’s revelation comes after switching up their look, as they now sport a choppy short haircut which fans love.
“You look so cute!” gushes one Instagram follower.
In agreement, a second adds: “Nice, new era!”

Dumont recently took to the social media platform and updated their bio, changing their pronouns to ‘they/them’ instead of ‘she/her.’
Following the update, TMZ reached out to a representative for the star who commented: “They identify as a transmasculine non-binary person.”
The rep added: “Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family.”
Transmasculine is ‘an umbrella term that refers to people who were assigned female at birth but identify with masculinity,’ per Healthline.
Non-binary is a term people use to describe genders that don’t fall into one of two categories, male or female.

Despite Dumont’s recent social media activity, they’ve yet to publically address coming out.
The actor is expected to star in the upcoming horror film New Me, which follows a young mother desperate to understand why she doesn’t emotionally connect with her baby and husband.
Although the project has concluded filming, there’s currently no release date.
