A person who transformed themselves into a ‘genderless dragon’ has shared some unrecognizable ‘before’ photos.
Tiamat Legion Medusa has undergone extreme body modifications to transform into a ‘genderless dragon’ has captivated the internet by sharing their remarkable journey, including rare ‘before’ photos.
With a combination of tattoos, piercings, horn implants, and other intense procedures, they have completely altered their appearance to align with a non-human, dragon-like identity.
People have been left shocked by the transformation, with one person writing: “Being a human hasn’t been kind to them. Let them be happy now. They are wonderful!”
“Why so much hate? Let them be who TF they want to be as long as they are happy there is no problem. Right? God is the only one who can judge them,” adds a second.
While a third agrees: “It’s absolutely disgusting how people come onto here and share such negative opinions.Instead of putting people down, lift people up.Clearly she’s happy being themselves. We’re all different. If you don’t like it, then click away.”
The former banker who has covered their body in tattoos and piercings in pursuit of becoming the world’s ‘first genderless dragon’ is now speaking about their radical transformation.
Tiamat Legion Medusa, from Texas, has spent the past decade transforming themselves into a mythical dragon-like figure.
They began their transformation following a profound dream in the 1980s involving snakes, which they interpreted as a sign that they were destined to become a ‘reptoid,’ per MailOnline.
In an interview with YouTuber Anthony Padilla, Medusa – born Richard Hernandez and now using they/them pronouns – shared that they once held a high-level job in finance before realizing they could no longer conform to the corporate world.
Medusa also opened up on the In Too Deep podcast, expressing some nostalgia for their former high-ranking banking career.
They shared, ‘I miss those days and I miss that job very much,’ reflecting on their time in white-collar America, but added, ‘I’m totally loving living as a dragon right now.’
“I was in my late 40s, prior to me living my life as the freak that I am.. I already had 79 piercings and most of them were hidden,” Medusa explained to Padilla for In The Know, adding that the visible piercings could be removed daily, allowing them to present a more conventional appearance in their previous job.
Medusa’s transformation journey includes facial tattoos, a split tongue, and horn implants that cost around $80,000.
Despite these changes, their journey is far from over.
They plan to add horns, replace their remaining teeth with dragon-like implants, and remove their genitalia to become completely genderless, aiming to become ‘the world’s first and only genderless dragon.’
Their passion for body modification had long conflicted with their professional life, and they ultimately chose to leave their career to fully embrace their dragon persona.
However, this dramatic change has caused a rift with their adult son, who has distanced himself from them.
“The relationship or the connection with my son has changed,” Medusa revealed, explaining that their son rejected them when they began their transformation when he was 16.
“My son hasn’t been in my life for seven years. I’m hoping that he is at least watching me on the internet because the reason I’m out there in such a big way is for him,” Medusa added.
Despite the challenges, Medusa is determined to show that success and authenticity can go hand-in-hand.
They encourage others in corporate careers to pursue their true selves, saying, “It’s incredible to hear and see people who don’t know me assume I’m a loser or that I haven’t accomplished anything in my life.”
Medusa, who was diagnosed with HIV in 1997, describes their transformation as a way of shedding parts of themselves they found offensive, both physically and emotionally.
Having faced cruelty and abuse throughout their life, Medusa views these modifications as a means of coping with past trauma.
“This is my way of dealing with life and the hand that was dealt me,” they said.
Although they identify as a ‘venom-spitting dragon,’ Medusa clarified that the venom is metaphorical, representing how they respond to people based on their treatment – whether kind or cruel.
While their physical transformation continues, they hope to find a human partner without any body modifications, despite their own radical changes.
However, they ultimately dream of meeting someone who also identifies as a reptilian.
Medusa’s transformation began in the 1980s, and they hope to complete it by 2025, aspiring to find peace and happiness in their unique identity.
