Social media users believe that the NFL football tight end, Travis Kelce, may have secretly gotten married to his girlfriend and globally recognized singer, Taylor Swift.
These rumours began after Kelce’s friend and the Chicago Bears tight end, Cole Kmet’s, wedding planner uploaded a few details from his wedding with girlfriend, Emily Jarosz.
Why Fans Speculated a Secret Marriage:
Ellie Nottoli, Kmet’s wedding planner, took to Instagram to post a few snippets from their Saturday wedding and this is where the Swift-Kelce wedding rumour was ignited.
On her Instagram, Nottoli showcased a sample invitation titled “Taylor and Travis Kelce”, which assigned them to Table 13.
She also addressed their absence in the wedding, as they were attending Kelce’s cousin’s wedding in Tennessee over the weekend.
Nottoli says that ““We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee.”
“But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests.”

The pair were addressed under the same surname, which sparked the marriage rumours and alerted fans, with many left wondering if they secretly got hitched.
Fan Reactions to the Travis-Taylor Wedding Rumors:
While E! News confirmed on Monday that the couple are not married, this did not stop fans from speculating.
“TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? EXCUSE ME,” one person wrote.
A second commented, “”TABLE 13????? TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE???? THIS IS SO SERIOUS.”
And a third added: “Taylor and Travis KELCE at the table 13 should I say congratulations?”
Meanwhile a fourth commented: “TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE??? DO THEY KNOW SOMETHING WE DON’T?”
Another joked: “If taylor and travis do end up getting married, travis better be taking taylor’s last name I am NOT calling her taylor kelce.”
However, to other users, this did not seem like a big deal, with many relating to it personally and claiming it to be for the “aesthetic”.
“Me and my bf do that too on gifts and stuff even though we aren’t married, it’s just kinda for the aesthetic of it,” wrote one user.
Another commented: “This is very common for couples (married and unmarried) for weddings. it’s the aesthetic.”
Some think that mentioning his surname, but not Taylor’s, was “weird”.
“I may be too woke but i just saw that wedding invitation that said ‘taylor and travis kelce’ and i just think it’s a bit weird how they automatically put his last name on it and not hers.”
Do Travis and Taylor’s Future Plans Include Marriage?
While Kelce has not popped the question as of now, the couple – who began dating in July 2023 – seem to be going very strong.
According to a source, the two lovebirds are “100 percent” heading towards that route.
They are quite serious about each other and “treating this relationship as their last relationship.”
All that remains is for Travis to ask Taylor’s parents for her hand in marriage.
