Jada Pinkett Smith has confessed to having an affair with a very unexpected celebrity..
Host of the Red Table Talk, 52, married Will Smith in 1997 and their relationship has been under the media spotlight.
An American actress, singer, and talk show host, Jada, 52, is best known for movies that include The Nutty Professor, the Madagascar animated movies and Girls Trip.
Since 1997, she’s been married to Hollywood legend Will Smith, with whom she shares two kids: Jaden, 26, and Willow, 23.
The couple has been harshly scrutinized in recent years for their marriage.
Smith slapped actor and comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, making global headlines as the A-listers.
Rock, who was hosting the event, began by insulting Jada’s shaved head, comparing her to Demi Moore in the 1997 film G.I. Jane.
Bad Moms actress had previously spoken about living with alopecia, the disease that attacks hair follicles which leads to hair loss.
After Rock said: “Jada, can’t wait for G.I. Jane 2,” Smith walked up on stage and to everyone’s astonishment, smacked him.
When he returned to his seat, Smith yelled: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”
But the night ended awkwardly with Smith winning Best Actor for his role in King Richard and the infamous slap overshadowed what should have been the zenith of his career.
The actor was banned for 10 years following the incident from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
We were overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behavior we saw Mr. Smith exhibit on stage,’ the organization said, adding that the awards had been cancelled.
But this isn’t the only controversy the couple has faced; some believe there was an even bigger scandal before the Oscars.
Jada hosted a talk show with her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and daughter Willow on Facebook called Red Table Talk from 2018 to 2023.
In 2020, one episode of the trio interviewing guests and talking about a few things went viral.
In this, Jada and Smith sat down to discuss an affair, which the actress revealed.
Jada had an ‘entanglement’ with hip-hop and R&B singer August Alsina, now 31.
She recounted: “It was him just needing a little help, me wanting to help his health, help his mental state.”
It was initially about his health, but then the outpouring from our family was for him.
“We found all those different resources to help pull him through and from there you and I were going through a very difficult time.”
Then the actress added that the pair had broken it off.
Jada and Smith used the talk show to address the claim the actor had given his permission for the affair.
“One of the things I want to clear up that was kind of swirling in the press was you giving permission, which the only person who can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself,” the mom-of-two stated.
“But what August was actually trying to communicate – because I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably – I think he also wanted to make it clear that he’s not a homewrecker, which he’s not.”
Then, in 2023, Jada made another shocking admission.

The actress revealed she and Smith had been living ‘completely different’ lives since 2016.
In an NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb, she said (per Today): “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce.
“We will work through whatever. And I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”
In a separate interview with People magazine, Jada added: “We’re still figuring it out.
“We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
Smith addressed the revelation in an email to The New York Times: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
