Jenna Ortega seems quite dismissive of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and would like to not pay any attention to the fact that she was previously part of it. Last week, the Wednesday actress claimed that she was in Iron Man 3, but many people likely did not recognize it.
In an interview with ET, Ortega was asked if she would agree to do fighter in a Marvel blockbuster.
Her response was, “I’ve already done it once. It was one of my earliest jobs. They removed all my lines. I appear in Iron Man 3. They cut my space’. I am the vice president’s daughter And I do have a leg.”

She later said that not only were her lines deleted, but her character’s name was not even featured in the credits.
In a self-disparaging way, she said “They even erased my name. I acknowledge it, and then I move forward.”
At that moment, Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man, was sitting next to her and looked flabbergasted.
Ortega was assured by him that Marvel would be “lucky” to have her be a part of their universe and hinted that she may still return for a future role.
“But,” Ortega said as she shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t want to go back to the MCU anytime soon. ”
In this case, Rudd went on to say, “Marvel is great at leaving little clues, so it’s entirely possible that you’ll be back.” “They’re going to create something for you because they’d be lucky to have Jenna Ortega in their franchise.”
It’s clear Ortega is focusing on many other things besides returning to the MCU anytime soon.
She has other plans.

For this particular period in time, she aims to enhance her status as a horror authority.
Ortega explained further details about her Wednesday Season 2 with the well-known director Tim Burton in an interview with Collider.
Ortega said, “I think visually we are having more fun than we’ve ever had before.”
Ortega also stated that this next season will be even more horror-focused than the preceding season, taking influence from classic horror films such as Carrie, Prom Night, and Burton’s Beetlejuice. There was also a mention of an unsettling episode with strong slasher film characteristics along with a strange scene where her brother Pugsley appears.
Ortega went on, “It’s a little ridiculous to concentrate and obsess over a single frame like that, but there’s a moment with Pugsley where he’s rolling his eyes back and there’s this thing he has on his head that… Well, it reminded me of Full Metal Jacket.”
