In her new endeavor, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, opens up personal details of her life. Netflix subscribers can now enjoy With Love, Meghan as her new release, showcasing her passion for cooking, interior design aspects, and minimalist lifestyle trends.

The audience is presented with actual moments as Meghan turns her royal responsibilities into living ordinary daily routines throughout the entire series. The series’ eight episodes are extended to 33 minutes each to illustrate Meghan’s dedication to being real.

The Montecito home is the backdrop where Meghan demonstrates her flower-arranging, cooking, and candle-making skills as she provides hands-on lessons to her friends. The show is deliberate in not mentioning Meghan’s royal heritage but emphasizes her modern interests and personal growth.

Meghan starts off her first show by warmly welcoming her long-time childhood buddy, Daniel Martin, who also serves as her makeup artist. In their cordial relationship, Meghan effortlessly creates a warm environment that welcomes audience members, inviting them into her presence.

Other episodes of the show feature guests like actress Mindy Kaling, chef Roy Choi, and close friend Delfina Figueras appearing on the show.

The interviews also give insight into Meghan’s relationships and her strong need to share with others.

A great conversation ensues as Mindy Kaling interviews Meghan. From discussing ideas for children’s birthday parties to sharing personal stories, Meghan’s real personality really shines through.

With tears and laughter, and good-natured conversations, Meghan’s private moments are revealed to her audience. Outside the bounds of the show, she has been busy building her lifestyle brand, “As Ever.”

This company is a major rebranding initiative, moving away from its previous name, “American Riviera Orchard.” With its spread, tea, and baking mix products, the company is a reflection of Meghan’s steadfast dedication to excellence and real ingredients.

The “As Ever” name aptly conveys her passion for cooking, crafting, and cultivating—themes reminiscent of her previous blog, “The Tig.” The “As Ever” logo has rich personal meaning.

The brand logo features two hummingbirds as a nod to Harry’s choice, and one palm tree representing the aspect that they reside in California. The imagery as a whole forms a single scene that encapsulates their common experience and major beliefs as a couple.

In With Love, Meghan, the author reveals details of her name and her personal choices through indirect cues. In their informal chat with Mindy Kaling in episode two, Meghan tells us that her name is currently Sussex.

Kaling refers to her as “Meghan Markle,” prompting Meghan to interject with a smile, “It’s so funny you keep saying Markle. You know it’s Sussex now.” At this point Meghan shows the audience a crucial element of her developing self.

Kaling speaks to her as “Meghan Markle,” and Meghan gives a smile, replying, “It’s so funny you keep saying Markle. You know it’s Sussex now.” At this point, Meghan informs the viewers of an integral part of her changing identity.

The decision to adopt “Sussex” as her surname is deeply rooted in familial bonds. Meghan elaborates, “You have kids, and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go, ‘This is our family name, our little family name.’”

The decision to use “Sussex” as her last name is very personal due to her family connection. Meghan says, “You have kids, and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t realize how much it would mean to me, but it means a lot to be able to say,  ‘This is our family name, our little family name.’”

In a People magazine cover story interview published recently, Meghan explained this choice: “It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children. The shared family name means everything to Archie as well as Lili and H and myself. It means a lot to me.”

The couple chose this name to enhance their mission to construct a unified familial unit, as their singular position bridging royal customs and modern times is of great import. In addition, the renaming of Meghan’s surname is a representation of the change within the royal family’s structure.

The family was granted titles of Prince and Princess upon the ascension of the throne of King Charles III. They have been granted their formal titles as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, representing their royal blood and their affiliation with the Sussex title.
