An Action-Packed Thriller That Is Being Called the ‘John Wick of Fighting Nazis‘ Is Sure to Leave People Wanting More.
A furious and highly gory film called ‘The John Wick Of Fighting Nazis’ has gained international fame after being branded a masterpiece.
In the short time that this film was released on Netflix, it gained a cult following due to its heart-pounding action and impressive sequences of the movie.
Although recently, action movie fans have had a lot to look forward to with the return of classic titles like Mission Impossible, and James Bond, and newer well-known names like Atomic Blonde and Bullet Train. Now, the production company that is known for the Keanu Reeves-led franchise has released a shocking piece of art that left the audience in awe.
After its release on Netflix, the film has been the talk of social media. But the critics are right. Deborah Ross from The Spectator claimed, “It is handsomely filmed with a suitably menacing score and is economical, moving briskly from one set piece to the next. I may recover one day, but I haven’t as of yet.” The Guardian also noted the pacing and cinematography when they called it “an exhilarating, blood-soaked adventure that loses not a single tick of its clock.”
The highly anticipated action thriller released in 2023 is still astonishing audiences with its $13 million box office earnings. With only a $6 million budget, the film proved that audiences are eagerly waiting for well-crafted, heart-racing storytelling. Audiences and critics fell in love with the film, giving it an amazing 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes while rating it 6.9 stars on IMDb.
Among those wins is Best Film, Best Music, Best Cinematography, and Best Actor for leading star, Jorma Tommila at the Sitges.
In the movie, which is set in the waning days of World War II, an agoraphobic old man by the name of Aatami (Tommila) undertakes a perilous 500-mile journey across Finland to spend his savings in gold. Unfortunately, his gold is stolen by merciless Nazi soldiers during an ambush, resulting in a bloody feud. With nothing to lose, battle-hardened militarized Aatami sets out on a blood-fueled campaign for vengeance with an undying will to carve a bloody swath through the frozen fiend that Finland had turned into.
The film uniquely captures the combination of breathtaking landscapes, cinematography beauty, dark humor, and brutal vivid violence. The combination of landscapes with the fights creates a haunting yet terrifying masterpiece.
Perhaps one of the fascinating theories is the one joining the movie with John Wick’s universe. An online buzz that is making rounds: “If they’re not going to try and connect this as a prequel or an origin story for John Wick’s family, then they are missing out. Aatami should be the grandfather, it would be at great ends in explaining how John’s family got into the hitman/revenge universe.”
There’s hope for a sequel, too, as excitement builds for the movie. There’s a good chance the filmmakers will come around to exploring Aatami’s backstory because of the growing cult status, and even expanding the connection to John Wick.
