Netflix viewers say the ‘best series ever’ is so good that they’re watching it multiple times.
Fans of gripping television dramas are setting aside their weekend schedules to indulge in the latest must-watch thriller.
The show has ignited the kind of online buzz that only the truly unmissable series can create, with fans urging everyone to cancel plans before pressing play.
Viewers are losing sleep over it
The intense, nail-biting storyline has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm, as one fan enthuses: “I would 100% recommend to binge this series.”
“This is a must-watch show,” praises another.
“It hasn’t even been out for a week and I’ve already watched the series through six times,” somebody else shares. “I highly recommend this series, it is the perfect mystery/thriller to watch if you’ve got a spare weekend.”
Such reactions have contributed to the series’ rapid rise in popularity, with social media threads and fan communities buzzing with speculation, theories, and discussion about the intricate plot.

“A delicious binge”
Critics have also chimed in, praising the show for its balance of suspense, character development, and clever storytelling.
Erin Maxwell wrote for LA Weekly that it ‘combines teen drama with crime procedurals to create a riveting series made endearing by solid performances from its young cast.’
“A delicious binge for anyone who loves a good murder mystery,” penned Jinal Bhatt for The Mary Sue.
Nate Parker reviewed the drama in Pajiba: “A twisty, turny path through a couple WTF reveals that occasionally make sense, buoyed up by a charismatic cast with great chemistry.”

The plot thickens
The British mystery thriller, directed by Dolly Wells, is a six-part adaptation of the 2019 novel of the same name by Holly Jackson.
It follows Pippa Fitz-Amobi, portrayed by Emma Myer. The actress has been praised for her great performance as Pippa, showing both her determination and sensitivity.
Her scenes with other characters, like Rahul Pattni as Sal Singh, are interesting and add depth to the story, along with the rest of the supporting cast, who bring the show to life and immerse viewers.
Pippa re-examines the case of Andie Bell, a schoolgirl who was declared a victim of a murder-s**cide five years prior.
Although the courts ruled that Andie’s boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), was responsible for her death before taking his own life, Pippa is convinced of his innocence.
Determined to uncover the truth, she embarks on a relentless quest, believing the real culprit remains at large.
Her investigation leads her through a web of secrets, lies, and betrayals, as she interviews friends, family members, and witnesses, gradually uncovering hidden truths that challenge everything the town believes.
The next installment
Netflix confirmed that Pippa Fitz-Amobi will take on a new case in Season 2. Filming was completed in 2025, and the new season is set to be released in 2026
“Pippa Fitz-Amobi is ready to crack a new case,” the streaming platform announced. “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will return for Season 2, giving the determined teen sleuth a new mystery to solve.”
Cast and creators have already shared a few comments about the upcoming season, giving fans something to look forward to.
In a behind‑the‑scenes video shared by Netflix’s Tudum, Myers said she felt ‘very nostalgic’ about filming Season 2 and that ‘this season has been really special to me and I’m so excited for everybody to see it.’
Season 2 creator Poppy Cogan added that she was ‘delighted to be back in Little Kilton with Pip and friends,’ and excited to bring more of Jackson’s gripping story to the screen.
