Pete Davidson, an American comedian and actor, has always been known for his distinctive style. Covered in ink almost head to toe, Davidson had an extensive collection of tattoos. Every piece on Davidson’s body tells a unique story whether personal or inspired by relationships.
For long, heavily tattooed body was a big part of the comedian’s persona. However, it’s not the case any longer. In a shocking reveal, the SNL star has gone through a big transformation that he is almost unrecognizable.
Famously known for his tattoos for long, Davidson has now revealed his nearly tattoo-free body. It took him years and a huge amount of money to get rid of the permanent ink from his body. Reportedly, the comedian spent $200,000/£161,300 to erase his tattoos, now revealing a striking new look.
But what caused him to take such a big shift in his life? Apparently, the expensive and time-consuming transformation isn’t just about aesthetics. As Davidson is slowly transitioning from stand-up comedy and sketch performances to more serious acting roles, the transformation was the need of the hour.

Recently, Davidson has debuted his striking transformation in a new campaign for the sustainable fashion brand Reformation. In the lighthearted three-minute ad, Pete Davidson playfully crowns himself the “Official Boyfriend of Reformation,” enthusiastically cheering on women as they experiment with different outfits.
More than the comedic punchline, it was the dramatically clear skin of the 31-year-old that gathered the attention and got fans talking. Posing for the ad, shirtless without his usual art, the new body of Davidson was a totally different sight. Fans rushed to social media to express their opinion.
One user commented, easy “That is some very impressive laser tattoo removal. Remarkable! You can hardly see those tattoos now”
Another one commented, “He is looking healthier and happier than ever yet. I like how he still remains his authentic goofy self which we love.”
However, the process of tattoo removal was not an easy job for the comedian. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Davidson expressed the tattoo removal procedure is not for the faint hearted. He warned fans to get the body tattooed only if one is certain he actually wants to get it.
“It’s pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it.”
While explaining the painful tattoo removal procedure, Davidson said,
“Well, they’ve got to burn off a layer of your skin. And then, it has to heal for like six to eight weeks, and you can’t get in the sunlight.”
