Actor Shia LaBeouf has been known to be quite feisty, often being quite outspoken, and has even been spotted trying to have brawls in public with randomers.
So, it’s no surprise there were rumours flying around of Shia reportedly “knocking out” actor Tom Hardy on set, to which Shia was forced to speak.
During an appearance on the popular YouTube show Hot Ones by First We Feast, in which celebrities are interviewed while also eating spicy wings, the Even Stevens star revealed what happened.
First We Feast‘s show involves celebrities eating increasingly spicy pieces of chicken, making it challenging for the interviewee to concentrate on answering questions.
Hot Ones host Sean Evans questioned LaBeouf over the supposed incident, “Are the rumours of you knocking out Tom Hardy on the set of Lawless overstated?”
He replied, “Yeah, it’s a bunch of bulls**t.”
He added, “We used to wrestle all the time and he was a big f**king person.”
“Especially then as he was getting ready for Bane.”
He added that he and his girlfriend at the time saw Hardy come back from his gym training session.
“We used to f*ck with each other all the time but it just so happened that, this one week, my girlfriend was in town and he runs into the room.”
“The girl I was with at the time was terrified.”
“She was like ‘Aahhh’ she covered up and she ran into the kitchen and he picked me up and I didn’t have nothing on so now I’m naked on his shoulder,” he explained.
“We’re in the hallway, we’re wrestling around.”
He revealed that Hardy’s personal trainer, nicknamed PNut, was filming the whole ordeal adding, “PNut, you can’t be filming all this sh*t.”
LaBeouf confessed that he was upset at Hardy due to him getting the better of him, that was until Hardy accidentally fell down the stairs.
“He got the better of me but I’m in some weird twisty naked position like my sh*ts over here and this sh*ts over here.”
“We ended up inching over the stairs, where the stairs were he fell down, you know hurting his back.”
“So for the rest of the shoot, he told everybody I knocked him out, but that wasn’t the case.”
“We were having some weird cutie wrestling match,” he said while smiling.
