Fans love Robert Pattinson first and foremost as a heartthrob. Most of his fans were women who started falling for him after Robert Pattinson in Twilight. But the case now seems to have been changing somewhat.

The actor has stated that he, too, has begun noticing a difference. For Pattinson, it was a weird feeling to see all those men there after years of being adored by the whole female fan base. But in his perception, this seemed like a whole different feeling.

At the red carpet screening of his new movie, Mickey 17, on February 13 in London, in an interview with the Associated Press, Sian Watson, Pattinson said, “I love the fact that people still say, ‘Man, Twilight killed the vampire genre.

Are you still stuck on this? How do you get worked up about something that happened pretty much 20 years ago? It’s stupid.”

Twilight has been rich soil for controversy for several years now, with opinions divided half-and-half. It made Pattinson a local celebrity, but others thought it ruined vampire films.

Pattinson has thought of that period in his life as history for many years now, something he traded for bigger, more diverse things.

This evolution with his fanbase started even with 2022’s The Batman. Pattinson played Bruce Wayne in a much darker and more serious interpretation of the character.

Box office history was written when the movie grossed $772 million worldwide and acquired a colossal fan following as well as good critical success.

He proved tireless efficiency in winning over skeptics of his acting from the beginning. The movie, in dark and gritty narrative mode, acquired male fan bases that assisted Pattinson to say goodbye to Twilight-typecasting.

Pattinson has an ever-growing fan base among action and comic enthusiasts, with the sequel underway, out October 1, 2027.

Pattinson gets to actually play another tough role within the science fiction genre with Mickey 17, where he plays Mickey Barnes, a lethal job agent brutally killed and brought back through a cloning process.

The uniqueness of the premise is a captivating and thought-provoking tale, as once again Pattinson showcases his ability to play varied and demanding roles.

Whatever that may be, one thing is certain: new fan bases are continually in the works as his career continues.

Whether it is his vampire heartthrob phase, his transition into a dark hero, or now a mind-twisting sci-fi character, Robert Pattinson is a Hollywood legend. He is an actor who has consistently stunned the public, and his fan base continues to grow.
