Virgin Voyages Launches First-Ever True Crime Cruise This Halloween Season

This October – right in time for Halloween season! – Virgin Voyages is set to host the first ever true crime voyage aboard their five-day cruise adventure across the Caribbean.

In collaboration with iHeartPodcasts, this cruise adventure aboard the Valiant Lady will be like none other.

It promises interesting events and activities like live recordings of true crime podcasts, meet and greet with their hosts, and workshops with some of these hosts for aspiring podcasters.

Some famous podcasts that will be played include Buried Bones, Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know, and Betrayal Weekly.

Prominent podcasters like Kate Winkler Dawson, the co-host of Buried Bones, will also be aboard the cruise and host sessions.

Buried Bones, is famous for its bone-chilling and compelling true-crime cases from centuries ago. 

Dawson has also expressed her excitement about sharing her podcasts’ chilling true crime stories live with the audience onboard.

According to her there is no “better setting for mystery than the middle of the ocean”

While Buried Bones focuses on historical crime cases,  Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know will focus not just on history but more – from government conspiracies to psychic powers and UFOs. 

The eerie presence of the sea will make the experience ever-enriching for all those onboard

Fans can also expect behind-the-scenes of how their favorite stories are brought to life, give-aways, etc,. 

Moreover, Virgin Voyages has also promised Halloween themed parties including costume contests, cocktail nights, curated dining experiences and stage acts etc,.

The True Crime Voyage will begin on October 10th, taking a five day round trip around the Caribbean.

Beginning from Miami, Florida, it will spend a day at sea before making a stopover at Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic on day three.

Day four will again be spent at sea, before heading toward the Bahamas, where the cruise will dock and passengers will get to visit the iconic Beach Club at Bimini. 

Day five will mark the end, as Lady Valiant returns to its final destination, Miami. 

For anyone with a knack of adventure and love for true crime, this cruise adventure by Virgin Voyages is the perfect vacation!
