We have all been fascinated by Hollywood couples for decades. Whether it’s Bogey and Bacall, Brad and Angelina, following these star crossed lovers, we get a glimpse into their fabulous lives. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have been one of the most interesting couples on our radar. It’s weird because after they got divorced, the public was even more interested in this couple. In fact, maybe getting divorced did help them save their relationship. Now, let us take a walk down memory lane and follow the steps that brought them to have such an awesome friendship that can’t even separate them on a worldwide crisis.
Their First Meeting
Demo Moore was engaged to another young up and coming actor in 1987, Emilio Estevez. The pair met on the set of St. Elmo’s Fire and got engaged soon after. She even came out to support her man for the premiere of his buddy cop film Stakeout. Bruce Willis was among the star studded parade of actors attending. One of the after parties is where they crossed paths and the rest is history, needless to say. In her new memoir, she talks about what happened, and what her first impressions were.
Didn’t Know Where Things Would Lead
Apparently, she had heard things about Bruce from people in her circle – and heading into the meeting, her preconceived impression was not that great. “My impression was that he was a jerk; however, Bruce was so gallant,” Moore said. Demi was taken with his boisterous yet gentlemanly air. He must have been unaware of her relationship status because he took this time to make a few advances in attempt to woo the young actress.
