Netflix viewers are urging people to watch the ‘best show ever’ ahead of its new season.

Based on Matthew Quirk’s bestselling novel, the TV show follows FBI Agent Peter Sutherland, portrayed by Gabriel Basso, as he takes on a role in the White House situation room.

Since debuting on the streaming platform, the show has amassed over 168 million hours viewed, earned the third-highest premiere week viewership for any first-season Netflix series, and appeared in the Top 10 rankings across 93 countries.
For fans who have already binged The Night Agent, there’s good news – Netflix has confirmed a second season is on the way.
Showrunner Shawn Ryan has hinted that the upcoming 10-episode season will explore ‘one of the big questions’ left unanswered in the first.
