In a world where conversations around gender identity are evolving rapidly, a TikTok star has recently sparked widespread attention by coming out as “trigender.” This revelation has introduced many to a lesser-known identity that challenges traditional gender norms.

Emily Skvarch, the TikTok star known as @future4caster, shared a video revealing their trigender identity. She also explained in the video what it means to be a trigender which received an overwhelming wave of positive feedback from viewers.

Admiring the TikTok star, one person commented, “Happy and comfortable with how they describe their identity.”

Another one added, “They seem comfortable in their identity, which is so much more than many can say for themselves. Good for them! I hope we can all find that sort of comfort, confidence, and certainty in ourselves.”

A third one reinforced, “I’m happy they’re in a place where they feel comfortable sharing their truth. Wishing them well!”

In the viral video of herself, Skvarch said, “I am trigender, which means like a triangle. I have three genders: male, female, and non-binary.”

She continued explaining trigender identity is different from gender-fluid identities.

“I feel all three of these genders at the same time. All the time. It doesn’t ever shift or change, or I feel one gender more strongly than the other like gender-fluid tends to be,”

By recognizing the diverse perspectives of their fans, of over 580,000, on gender identities, she continued explaining,

“I should recognize and accept that a lot of people don’t see non-binary as a third gender; they see it as something completely separate from the binary of male and female.

“But for me, it’s like a third gender. Or I guess you could call it a third identity.”

The TikTok star explained that their gender experience encompasses being both male and female, as well as neither, all at once. In conclusion, people who are trigender identify themselves through the three gender categories of male, female, and non-binary.

The Gender Wiki defines trigender identity through three key characteristics. First one is multiplicity, which refers to identifying with three distinct genders. Second one is fluidity, where individuals may either shift between these genders over time or experience them simultaneously and last one is diverse combinations, meaning the three genders can be any mix of binary (male, female) and non-binary identities.

Trigender identity falls under the broad spectrum of multigender experiences, which involve recognizing multiple gender identities. It differs from other identities like bigender, where a person identifies with two genders, and polygender, which includes identification with more than three genders. According to Gender Wiki, the experience of being trigender varies from person to person, influenced by personal feelings, cultural factors, and social dynamics.
