Shia LaBeouf, a talented American actor known for his roles in blockbuster films like Transformers and Indiana, is known for his intense and often unpredictable behavior, both on and off screen. He’s widely recognized for his rebellious nature and bold unpredictable persona.
LaBeouf has been involved in several controversies over the years making headlines, so it’s not a surprise to see flying rumors about him reportedly “knocking out Tom Hardy in a weird twisty naked position”.
Apparently, the rumors claimed, during the filming of Lawless, the two actors were tangled up naked in a weird position during the shoot of a fight scene when Tom Hardy was knocked out.
Recently, during an appearance on the popular YouTube show Hot Ones by First We Feast, LaBeouf revealed what actually happened addressing the famous rumor. First We Feast‘s show, where celebrity guests are interviewed while eating progressively spicier chicken wings coated with hot sauces, makes it challenging for the interviewee to concentrate on answering questions.
Through the escalating heat of spicy wings, the show’s host Sean Evans asked LaBeouf,
“Are the rumours of you knocking out Tom Hardy on the set of Lawless overstated?”
He replied humorously,
“Yeah, it’s a bunch of bulls**t.”
He continued adding,
“We used to wrestle all the time and he was a big f**king person. Especially then as he was getting ready for Bane.”
Recalling the day, he gave details about his girlfriend who was in the town visiting him. When Hardy barged in the door, his girl startled and ran in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Hardy playfully picked up LaBeouf, who was being caught off guard and was left completely naked on Hardy’s shoulder, adding to the chaotic and humorous moment. He said,
“We used to f*ck with each other all the time but it just so happened that, this one week, my girlfriend was in town and he runs into the room. The girl I was with at the time was terrified.”
“She was like ‘Aahhh’ she covered up and she ran into the kitchen”
Giving interesting details, he added,
“He picked me up and I didn’t have nothing on so now I’m naked on his shoulder. We’re in the hallway, we’re wrestling around.”
Hardy’s personal trainer, nicknamed PNut, was recording the entire situation. He added on a lighter note “PNut, you can’t be filming all this sh*t.”
LaBeouf continued describing the situation as being out of control while mentioning Hardy got better of him that is until he slipped from stairs.
“He got the better of me but I’m in some weird twisty naked position like my sh*ts over here and this sh*ts over here. We ended up inching over the stairs, where the stairs were he fell down, you know hurting his back.”
“So for the rest of the shoot, he told everybody I knocked him out, but that wasn’t the case.”
“We were having some weird cutie wrestling match,” he said clearing the speculations while smiling.
