American actress and singer, Jessica Simpson, recently made a shocking revelation.
She took to Instagram to post a video of her having a concoction – one that, unknown to her at first, contained snake sperm! Despite the unexpected discovery, Simpson seemed unfazed.
Fans immediately flooded the comment section, appreciating her hilariousness.

One user joked, “The new Chicken of the Sea moment,” referencing her famous reality TV blunder.
Another commented, “Lol. hilarious and still so carefree.”
A third user wrote, “Hahaha, that’s the Jess we (your fans) know and love.”
In the video, the “Blame Me” singer narrates the entire incident to her band, saying ““My friends were like, ‘What are you drinking?’”
“I’m like, ‘It’s this Chinese herb thing… my vocal coach told me to drink it.’”

This is when one of her friends googled the ingredient list, revealing the unexpected detail. However, this did not shock Simpson, who was rather nonchalant and laughed it off by comparing it to honey.
She says, “And they Googled it and it’s snake sperm. It’s like a honey.”
The concoction seems to have worked for her as she claimed that the drink improved her singing voice.
“If you want a good vocal, you got to drink snake sperm,” she jokingly noted.
She captioned the video with three emojis: the microphone, along with a snake and test tube.

The 44-year-old singer’s devotion towards her career is evident, with her music bringing her immense joy and freedom.
She recently took to Instagram to express her love for singing upon the release of her new EP,Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1,on March 21.
“I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free. His eyes are on the sparrow and I know He watches me. God told me I needed to feel the fear and do it anyway as I’m moving into my truth while embracing the beauty of uncertainty. And so I did….” she wrote in the post’s caption.
She went on to explain that the EP “is the result of learning to hear my heart again, free from industry expectations. It’s about surrendering, letting my voice be my main guide and trusting the journey ahead.”
Simpson’s commitment to authenticity extends beyond her music, as she’s also opened up about her journey to sobriety.

In an interview with PEOPLE, the star claimed, “”The moment I started drinking too much was when I started writing music in 2016, and it was making me go to places and feel sorry for myself,” she said. “I don’t know why I wanted to feel sorry for myself other than the alcohol was lying to me and saying, ‘You’re braver because you can say this with me on your side.’”
Simpson, who celebrated her seven-year sobriety anniversary in November 2024 added, “It’s not true. I actually am so much more honest without alcohol, and I actually believe myself so much more without alcohol.”
